Woodlands and Parklands

I take a lot of photographs when visiting woodlands and parklands, of trees and tree features. The ones included on this website are those where I have managed to get a definite identification. There is a list of tree photos on this site, over 460 species of trees, arranged alphabetically by Latin names, with over 1500 photographs. There is also a list of links to useful tree websites, and a glossary of tree names and botanical terms.

In parklands more enlightened owners and managers put tags on their trees, or number them and provide a guide leaflet, which is wonderful for someone like me. I do hope that more woodlands and parklands open to the public will do this in the future.
